My Story

My name is Wendy Quintero Navarro. I was born and raised in Boyle Heights, California. Currently I reside in Santa Fe Springs, California with my husband and son. My parents immigrated to the United States from Mexico and I am the eldest of three children. I am a lover of many things such as books, nature, Spanish rock, and traveling. I received my Bachelors and Masters degree from Loyola Marymount University, along with my teaching credential. After college, I became a teacher at an elementary school and taught for 5 years. Currently, I work at a high school in the field of Admissions & Marketing.

As a child, I was always a very happy, positive little girl. I remember singing, dancing, playing dress up, and reveling in being me. Yet, as I moved through life, I went through ups and downs in my own human journey that shaped who I am today. Our families, beliefs, traumas, and heart breaks all play a role in molding who we become in our lives. This is how I became me.

We are all meant to have happy, fulfilling, magical lives. Yet, everything we have gone through keeps us stuck in certain areas of our life. They tend to show up in our adult life as we live out our life in marriages, partnerships, careers, health, and in how we view ourselves. This is why having a strong foundation of the self is imperative. A foundation that is unshakable at its core of who we really are, your true self.

I wrote We are the Light of the World: Magical Mantras for Children for all the children in the world, and also for our own inner children. I have come across my own inner child in my healing journey and I have learned to embrace her to bring her back to my heart. This is why affirmations and the I Am presence are so important in my work. Our new generation of children, Indigo, Crystal, and Rainbow, are set to bring forth a New Earth for humanity. What better way to get them onto their journey than for them to embrace their true, sovereign nature.

My Mission

My mission is to help children remember and embody their divine self through these affirmations. It can be a struggle for children to grow up in a world that seems so scary and unknown to them. They are experiencing the world one day at a time. They are learning about it though their five senses and their experience. It can be challenging without the the proper guidance from parents, family, and friends.

We are all made in the image of our Creator, which is why the I Am presence is important when working with affirmations. We are already born with this affirmation within us. We tend to believe that everything is outside of us and we must search for love, for compassion, for strength, for forgiveness, etc. Yet, these affirmations are not outside of us, they reside inside our heart. As you feel these affirmations in your heart, it begins to expands within you creating a glow around your being. This is why affirmations are important. We remember who we are through them and embody them in physical form. This is what we want to bring to humanity and the world.

My Spiritual Journey

My spiritual journey began in 2016 when I was pregnant with my son, Max. We had just bought a lovely home and were on our way to starting our little family. Yet, something was missing and I felt that there was something more to life. It was a calling of some sort from the heart. I felt that my life had a bigger purpose to it. Not that I hadn’t made a difference already, but there was more to do. It was my inner mission calling me to the next phase of my life.

I began my inner healing work in 2016 and it has been an ongoing process. I met wonderful healers along the way who have helped me come in touch with my true divine self. It is through this work that I came across my real mission, which is working with children, bringing joy and helping them become who they are meant to be. My son has been an integral part of this journey and I have learned to help him shine his light and spread his wings in this world.

This is a book not only for children, but for all those inner children inside of us. As we get in touch with those parts of us, we begin to integrate these affirmations and heal. My spiritual journey has been about healing my own inner child in order to understand how to bring more love and light into the world. This book is of service to the collective and everyone in the world.

“Children are the light of the world that will bring us into the next generation.”
